Main News page would be a simple View, displaying News content from newest to oldest. The sub-pages could be derived from a single View, receiving an argument for taxonomy terms. The posts for each section would be appropriately tagged and thus automatically categorized.

  Simplest way, make a static Page here and list the links in HTML. Alternately, change this section into a View, add a Member CCK type to collect the names, links, etc, and then automatically output the info onto the Members page (this would make it possible to add Members by simply filling a form with pre-determined fields. Members would then automatically appear in the list with no interaction with coding required, and can also easily be unpublished or deleted as necessary by simply toggling an option instead of touching the HTML).

Alternately this could have an embedded View to automate the handling of CentOS Sponsors (make a Sponsor CCK type, add fields for company/organization name, image, link, etc... and list/assemble the fields with Views - publish/unpublish, reorder, etc).
